Who we are
The Hale Center Economic Development Corporation is dedicated to growing the city of Hale Center, Texas and ensuring the vitality of the town for its citizens.
We are currently in the process of recruiting new businesses, housing developers, as well as new families to join our community.
Hale Center, Texas is a small town with big potential.
The traffic through the town is over 17,000 via Interstate 27, and we are working diligently to bring in those who pass by.

Where Hale Center Began
Hale Center’s roots date back to the 1890s, when residents from Hale City and New Epworth helped establish the community after drought affected the area.

Caudle Park was donated to the city in 1968 by Elmo Caudle and has grown over the years with walking trails, picnic areas, bridges, bathrooms and playground equipment.

Paw Pals, a Hale Center nonprofit, has helped move dogs from overcrowded shelters to loving homes across the country.

The Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum includes the old Santa Fe Railway Depot from 1911 and a 1907 farmhouse.

Best Maid Pickles gets millions of pounds of cucumbers from the Hale Center area each year, with local growers helping produce about 30 million pounds of cucumbers annually.
